My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Cinder. I am such a pretty kitten. I have tabby markings with beautiful gray and gold colors. My foster mom thinks I might be a dilute torbi, which is a mix of tortoiseshell and tabby markings. Either way, I'm unique and gorgeous. I have the softest fur, a bushy tail and long hair coming out my ears. I'm sweet and soft natured. I get along well with other cats and I enjoy the companionship. Adjusting to a new home and new people is tough, so I will need some time to warm up to you. That won't take too long though. You can hold me anytime you want and I will keep your lap warm. I like to purr when petted too. Larry, another kitten in my foster care home, is teaching me all the fun things about being a kitten. I am learning to pounce and to bat at toys. I like the squeaky mouse the best. I use the kitty litterbox like a good girl. I'm an all-around great kitten who needs someone to love for life. Please give me a chance. Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption and Foster Care Application

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
