Hi People,
My name is Billy and I’m about an eighteen month old sweetheart of a bichon, I’m a cuddler and a lover, great with other dogs, people and with children. My foster mom says I’m very gentle and sweet. She says I can be very playful -- and that there is no doubt that I am VERY smart! I am crate trained and housebroken, happy and well mannered! I like to get approval for my newfound skills – in other words, I want to please!
Mom says I am a great companion! She says I’m just a cute and funny guy. She loves when I grab my toys and walk around with them, trying to get my foster brothers to play with me. All the while she says my tail is going like a windmill. (Mom says she can imagine me saying, “Please, please come and play with me.”) Since my doggy foster brothers aren’t very playful, Mom and Dad throw my toys for me – squeaky toys, tennis balls and even socks. (Mom says I’m a bit of a sock thief – but she laughs when she says that!) While I’m pretty good at ‘fetch’ I’m really good at tug-of-war, too!)
Dad says I am a very gentle bichon and not rambunctious. He says when I get tired I will find a bed and just go to sleep – and that I sleep soundly and am a very good boy who minds well. And Dad says I already know how to shake hands (he just discovered that) and I’m learning more new commands all the time. Best of all Dad says I am quiet, trusting and very kind.
Mom says I like to be wherever she is and that I am very loving. If I can lie nearby and watch her, that makes me happy. I also like to lie right on her feet and sometimes kiss her toes, too. She says I’m the sweetest and gentlest little soul who just wants to be with someone who will love me back!
Molm also says I LOVE to go for rides in the car (she says I’d rather drive than ride but she doesn’t let me do that! – and she thinks I’m funny!) and that I also like my walks. We go out lots of times throughout the day and I love smelling all the wonderful smells and seeing other dogs and people.
Mom says I do everything well. She also says that any family would be very lucky to adopt me. She says I respond to praise and will lick you to show my gratitude. Since I like to play she says it would be nice for me to be in a home with at least one other dog.
