My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Cara - and I am a bundle of love – a darling bichon girl of two who is friendly, affectionate, obedient and smart. I have a happy bounce to my step, a desire to please beautiful brown eyes that will touch your soul and a happy smile for everyone I meet.

I love meeting new people, whether I am in the car, taking a walk or at the park. I think people are the best! At the same time, I can be very quiet and am comfortable if I am left alone for periods of time. (Of course I am happiest when I can be around someone I love!) Mom says I am extremely well behaved, that I have wonderful manners and am very smart. Why I learned my name the very first day I came into foster care!

My human foster sisters adore me and think I’m the best. They say I love to go for walks and rides (when the car is parked in the driveway I walk right over to it, hoping we can go for a ride. And when we do I like to lean out the window with the breeze on my face, just enjoying being a part of the world!)

I love kids (and get excited when they enter a room), cats, and people of all sizes and shapes. When I know I am going for a walk, I get excited and jump up and down to show you I am ready to go. After I have done ‘my business’ as Mom calls it, I start walking back towards the house ‘cause I know that’s the thing to do. (That’s one of the ways she knows how smart I am!)

Dad says I am very loving, obedient and anxious to please – a gentle not-so-little girl with a huge heart and a desire. Mom says that although I’m not a dainty girl I am very light on my feet. She says that when my hair grows out I could pass as a calendar bichon. (I don’t know what that means yet – but I think that’s a good thing!)

If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet bichon who only wants to give and receive love and affection, please fill out our application.

I look forward to meeting you and becoming part of a Forever Family.
