SuziQ is, according to her foster mom, just the perfect little dog. She is a Shih Tzu, about 4 years old, weighing 11 lbs, She loves to play with her toys as well as cuddle on the sofa with her person. She is a very calm dog and the more attention she gets, the happier she is. She just wants to be with you.
Suzi is housetrained, crate trained, good with cats and dogs. She has never had an accident in her foster home but if her foster mom is gone for a long time she leaves out a pad and Suzi uses that . She will be a great dog for families with children over 4.
Like all Shih Tzu's Suzi does does require brushing every couple of days or her coat can become matted. She will also require professional grooming every couple of months.

Anyone interested in our dogs must be over 21. We are only able to adopt to homes within a reasonable driving distance of the dog's foster home and please be prepared for a home visit by one of our volunteers. We do not adopt on first-come-first-served basis, we want to make sure the dog is right for the family and vice versa based on what we know about the dog's personality, habits and behaviors.
