Hi People,
My name is Bailey and I’m a darling bichon boy of about five who is a real sweetheart. (That’s according to my foster family ‘cause I’m not one to brag!) I’m a cuddler and a lover, great with other dogs and outstanding with children. My foster mom says I’m a very loveable, happy, trusting and playful boy -- and that there is no doubt I aim to please!
Dad says that I am a great walker (we go for 40 minute walks and I love every second) and a great rider (in the car, that is!) And I’m a really good sport. Why I even let the four year old neighbor walk me. And if there are other kids in the house or on the street, why I love to greet them and make them feel welcome. (I’m that way with big people, too!)
Speaking of sports, I’m the champion of the house. Well that is if you are willing to play fetch, chase or tug-of-war with me. Give me a ball, a rope, a soft squeaky toy – and I am one happy (and athletic) guy! While I have lots of energy I’m equally adept at lying perfectly still and getting a belly rub (or two, three, four… ) You get the picture!
Mom says I do everything well. I even like to get baths and be brushed (and that’s important to a handsome bichon like me) Mom says the cutest thing I do is sit near the kitchen and watch her cook. (I don’t beg though, I just watch her!) I’m calm, love to please and very adaptive. Mom and dad agree that I will make a great additional to any family- and only the most special family will deserve me.
I would be happiest in a home with a family that is active, like me, and home a lot. And if my family could take me on lots of walks and to the dog park, I would think I was in heaven.
