My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baxter was rescued from a packed full local kill shelter where he had been brought in by a family that said he had showed up out in the country where they lived and followed them around like a puppy dog. How he made it through the coyotes and other dangers of country life will forever be a mystery, but what is not a mystery is what an awesome kitten Baxter is. He obviously was raised with people because they don't come any friendlier and better socialized. He quickly became a shelter staff favorite and when a Furry Friends volunteer heard about him, she tagged him for rescue, sight unseen. His foster mom has a "thing" for orange tabby males because in general, they are just so darn amazing, and Baxter is exactly why she loves these guys. Baxter is a "dog cat" and actually thinks he's a dog. There is nothing not to adore about this cute little tabby guy. If you can give him an inside only home (no outside/country life with predators, please) where he will be loved and adored, please fill out an application and adopt him today. You will be amazed at how amazing a kitten can be!
