My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Venus was rescued from a high kill local shelter where she had been brought in as a stray. The shelter was full to the brim with cats and kittens with more coming in every day. A long euthanasia list which ended up having over 30 cats on it was forthcoming. The shelter walker picked her favorite cats to save and contacted Furry Friends to see if they had room for a sweet beautiful orange kitten (just eight months old) that turned out to be Venus. Venus is as sweet as she can be with people. She can be turned upside down like a baby and loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. She is okay with dogs. She is not crazy about other cats. The doesn't attack anyone, but she does let out a shriek if a cat gets too close to her. This has alleviated somewhat since she's been in foster care and been forced to be around other cats. She could probably live peacefully with another cat that left her alone and respected her personal space; however, she would probably be happiest as an only kitty. Venus is great with kids. She will make some lucky family a wonderful addition. How about yours!!??
