Wizard's Story...

Wizard

Meet Wizard, our newest Lone Star Lab!! Wizard just arrived at this foster home, so we don't know too much about him yet. We do think that he's part fish! He absolutely loves splashing and "swimming" in the little doggy pool in his foster home.

Wizard is 3 1/2 years old and is settling into the routine at his foster home very well. He gets along with the dogs that he's met and he seems to have a pretty "laid-back" attitude. He is about 80 lbs, so he might be a little too big for children under the age of 6.

As we get to know Wizard better, we'll post updates here, so come back to learn more about Wizard and how you can be his "furever" home.
.

Please see our web site (www.LoneStarLabRescue.org) for information on this Labrador, as well as complete information on how to adopt a Lone Star Labrador!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wizard, a Coppell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
