I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Max's Story...
Max was found wandering on a major highway in Memphis TN in horrific condition, starved, blind, and near death. Thank goodness for the trucker who was paying attention and stood on his brakes so that Max did not end up under the 18 wheeler. Max is currently safe, and after being taken to a vet's office he has been found to have heartworm and intestinal parasites. Max has a long road to recovery while in rescue. Despite what humans have done to Max he still remains trusting and loving.

Max is now healthy and ready for his new home ! He is one awesome, loving fellow !!! .
Thank you
Love Max

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Toms River Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in Toms River, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in Toms River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toms River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toms River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toms River paves the way for another one to be saved.
