Sylvester's Story...
September 20, 2015 -- SYLVESTER was dumped in the Gila wilderness and was brought to us several months ago when he was very ill -- he had Giardia, a condition from being in or drinking contaminated water. After several hospital stays and treatments over the course of 2 months, he has been extremely active and healthy and happy.

August 2016: What a looney tune character! This silly boy loves to play and run around and plays well with both large and small dogs. He is now almost 1 1/2 years old.

SYLVESTER is a high energy boy, he needs a yard with a tall fence, and a person or family who is very active. He is house trained, neutered and current on shots. He loves children, large and small dogs and absolutely loves to ride in the car.

Our adoption application and guidelines are on our website http://www.puppydogranch.org. If you have questions please call (575) 313-7232 Mon-Fri 10-5 or Sat 10-1 or email puppydogranch@ymail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvester, a Arenas Valley Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Arenas Valley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Arenas Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arenas Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arenas Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arenas Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
