My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE ARE HELPING GYPSY'S OWNER FIND HER A FOREVER HOME! PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION AND USE HER CONTACT INFO AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST!

Gypsy is about 7 months old. She's a blue-tick hound lab mix. Right now I'd estimate her to be about 35-40 pounds. She's going to be a large dog. She currently lives with 4 cats and a 2 year old girl. She is not aggressive towards any animal but she plays rough with the cats and they do not like it. So I wouldn't say that she's good with cats but she's not bad either. She has never been around small dogs. I don't think she'd intentionally hurt them but she plays rough so she may not be good with them. With medium to large dogs she's fine! I've taken her to the park to meet other dogs and she does great. She just wants to run and play all day! She's fine with the 2 year old girl. She just ignores her (she has the puppy brain.. she just wants to run around and chase things). I have had her at the stable where she met a mule and some horses. She was very good with them and the barn cats. The cats smacked her in the face and after that she kept her distance. She kept a good distance from the horses too.. she was scared of them. She learns quickly but of course has a short attention span right now. She stays in a crate but I do not consider her crate trained! She will go in willingly and sleep through the night in the crate but as soon as she hears a person moving around she barks and barks and barks until someone lets her out (which is why she barks). Right now she is living in a home with no yard. He owners had the intention of making her a nice house dog but that is not what Gypsy wants. She is bred to be an outside dog. She would do great on a farm or in a house that has a fenced in yard. This is not an apartment dog!! I think her ideal home would be either on a farm or with a nice family who have an active lifestyle and a yard that she can play in daily. Gypsy will be a great dog in the right home! She's very sweet, beautiful, and smart. She just needs more exercise and love.

Gypsy is up to date on her shots and is spayed.
