My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Skipper, and I would love to Skip around your house, and make it a home! I am a happy, cuddly Party PooChon, about 3 1/2 years old. I am about 18 pounds, and trying to put on a little more weight. I am about 12 1/2 inches tall at my shoulder.

I have beautiful thick wavy hair, and a gorgeous full tail, that I like to wave around all the time!! I have black and grey spots in areas, which is part of my poodle heritage.

I like to play, and chase toys when thrown. I like the kitty, too! I don’t use a leash on my collar. I have to use a halter and leash, and walk well with that. I love car rides, and walks, and food, and treats, and the kitty cat, and playing with other dogs, and with my toys.

I may mark once in a while, in a new house, but I learn fast, when told “no!”. I know how to use a doggy door, too. I don’t jump up on the bed, but I love to sleep in the big bed with my human, and wait to be picked up. Otherwise, I will sleep on a nice doggy bed, or up on a chair, beside my human’s bed. I love to cuddle on my human’s lap, and give kisses, too.

I would love to come show you how much love I have to give! Will you give me a chance? Will you let me be your “forever boy”?

Skipper needs another dog in the home or someone that is home most of the time. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. He is located in S. TX
