Sabrina's Story...
Isn't little Sabrina the cutest! This precious year old Dachshund is looking for her new fur-ever home. She came to us after her previous owners went through a bad break up and neither party could care for her. Sabrina hasn't been in our care for long, but she has already won the hearts of many of the volunteers. She is good with kids, loves playing with other small dogs, and enjoys outside time. She appears to be house-trained, but would probably need some reminders in her new home. Sabrina is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and microchipped. Stop by to visit with this delightful girl today! We are open from 12-6 daily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sabrina, a Benbrook Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
