My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgia is a twelve week old dachshund mix puppy. She weighs about 7 pounds. She is the most beautiful golden color. Look at those ears! There are just not enough words to describe Georgia's CUTENESS!! Georgia is looking for a home to call hers. She wants to be pampered and loved the rest of her life!

If you are interested in giving Georgia a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Or download from our web site www.merceranimalrescue.org

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 with questions about the dogs or Angela at 203-9009-8861 with questions about our adoption process.

Georgia's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the spaying, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and the transportation fee is included.

Georgia is living with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to this new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
