Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Rosie Rose. I am a black female Labrador Retriever who is about 10 years old and weigh 62 lbs. I am a slim and healthy dog! My foster mom says that I am sweet, adorable and that the white fur on my face makes me look regal. I like it when we have cuddle-time and she kisses me on my head.
SCLRR rescued me from a shelter. That is where my previous family left me, which is something that I still don’t understand, but I don’t dwell in the past and I am ready to find my forever home and family. I am a happy dog! I love people, children, other dogs (big and small) and cats! I am house-broken and understand basic commands. I will respect your home. I am extremely low-maintenance and do not have any bad habits. I am also good in the car.
My foster mom takes me on walks throughout the day. I am good on the leash and will walk by your side. On the weekends we go to the doggie beach and dog parks. I love going to the dog park because I like to say hello to everyone. My foster mom calls me a “social butterfly”.
My foster mom says that I am such an easy dog. I am crate-trained, but since I am so good I don’t have to spend too much time in it. I prefer to stay out and lay on my comfy doggie-bed. I have some minor arthritis on my legs and spine, but I still get around well. I heard my foster mom say that I have a young spirit, which is true.
