Hi, I am Hagrid. Yes I am named for the character from Harry Potter. I am quite a character of my own. I am a beautiful dilute tricolor beagle that is so handsome and sweet. I weigh about 25 lbs and I am between 1 and 2 years old. I was found wandering the streets with an older beagle that could have been my mom. I don’t like being by myself and would need a home with another dog, preferably a female beagle. I have a foster sister beagle that I loved to play with and I like being around her all the time. But I am also learning to like my foster mom. I was very scared and shy at first but I wag my tail and am quite a lovable little guy.
My foster mom is afraid that I would bolt and run away since I was so afraid at first but I am a new guy that is learning to love. But I still should go to a home where I am watched closely. I am learning to walk on the leash and to go outside. Right now I am learning to go potty in a fenced area that my foster mom has. I am high energy but I also can sit and wait to be loved.
