Wrigley's Info...

Wrigley's Story...
Wrigley is a 4 month old Chiweenie. One of his parents was a Chihuahua and the other was a Dachshund. He weighs 10 pounds and should be 16-20 pounds when he grows up. I guess I should rephrase that, when he is fully grown, he isn’t going to grow up anymore. He has the short stubby Dachshund legs.
Wrigley is a playful puppy who would love another younger active dog to chase and play with. Wrigley has been good with every dog he has met. Size doesn’t matter to him. The ideal home for Wrigley is an active family with a fenced yard and a playmate for him. His wish list also includes some older kids for him to keep track of.
Wrigley is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He just need a family of his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wrigley, a Lisbon Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Lisbon, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Lisbon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lisbon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lisbon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lisbon paves the way for another one to be saved.
