Ladybug's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Ladybug's Story...
Ladybug was found running with other siblings and their mother and a kind person was able to catch some of them and got the to the Bedford Humane Society to go into foster care and get all their medical needs taken care of. They are all very sweet, friendly puppies. They appear to be purebred but may not be. We estimate their birth date as June 10, 2015. They will be available to go to their homes after Oct. 7 whben they will have gotten their second puppy vaccine. They have been dewormed, microchipped, bordetella, puppy vaccines and started on Heartworm preventative. Ladybug is crate trained and is doing very well on a schedule of walks to eliminate. She walks very well on a leash. Ladybug will make a wonderful family pet. For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ladybug, a Bedford Redbone Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
