Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bonita is a 1 1/2 year old Boxer/Shepard mix. She looks like a puppy but should not grow anymore. She is the perfect size and is too cute for words. Her coloring is beautiful with her little black face. Bonita weighs 20 - 25 lbs, very friendly and affectionate. She runs and plays then just sacks out and takes a nap, then starts all over again.
Bonita is lovable, sweet and just a fun little girl. Those EYES just grab you! Bonita is potty trained.
If you are interested in giving Bonita a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Or email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.
Bonita's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the spaying,, shots, flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and does include the transport fee.
Bonita was rescued from a shelter in Arkansas. She is living with a foster family just outside of Memphis, TN. Bonita will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
