Meet Oliver, the 8-year old terrier mix. He is as sweet as can be and loves affection. His favorite activities include snuggling, afternoon naps and playing keep away with his kong. Oliver is loving and loyal - a true companion. He looks and feels like a teddy bear and even cuddles like one too. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, house and leash trained and know some basic commands. He is a very quick study and is eager to please.

Oliver is so loving that he gets a bit protective of his people. He may bark at a stranger but is generally good with everyone. During his first week with us he suffered from separation anxiety. He is not destructive but did bark, he has learned to be alone and does okay on his own during the day. He would have a tough time with someone that is gone a lot or travels frequently.

With other dogs, he gets stressed and tense so he will need a patient dog parent to show him how to act appropriately. We don't know Oliver's history as he was rescued from the streets at night. He suffered a leg strain and will limp when he tries to run quickly, however, it has progressively improved with time. He loves his mellow walks where he can take time to sniff the flowers:-)

Oliver is incredibly sweet and deserves someone who can give him the time and attention he needs.
