Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This very handsome young man is Bear, a 5 year old pit/cocker spaniel mix that is hoping for a fresh start in life. We don't see much cocker spaniel in Bear, but apparently it's there, according to his former family that had to surrender him due to moving. No matter, Bear is a beautiful, unique boy that is hoping for a chance to win you over with his charm and warm personality. Since Bear is not very used to being in a kennel, he tends to be a bit standoffish when people stop to look at him but please, ask to meet Bear outside. You will be amazed at how calm, loving, friendly and sweet he is. Bear bonds with people quickly and it only takes seconds of him knowing you to figure out that you're ok, then he'll give you a gentle hug, ask you for some attention, then whisk you away to go play fetch with him. Bear is an expert fetcher and will catch toys in mid-air time and time again. He has had lots of training in his life and is very easy about giving his toys back to you and taking treats too. He walks perfectly on a leash and will sit and lay down when asked. Bear seems to enjoy meeting other well behaved dogs and loves people. He just wants to go home.....to a home with a family that will love and cherish him forever. File#25315 8/15/15
