My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruiser is a two year old Chihuahua. Bruiser is the MOST LOVABLE baby we have seen in a long time. If you are looking for a smaller breed that is sweet, friendly and loving, then Bruiser is your boy! All 5 lbs of him.

Bruiser just LOVES everyone, two of four legged. He even thinks the cats are cool, too! We are holding him in the pictures because he didn't want to get down. Every time we put him down he jumped to get in our arms! his eyes are captivating! If you are looking for a BEST FRIEND then Bruiser is your Boy. His coat is gorgeous and soft. Bruiser is potty trained. Bruiser is ready to be HOME!

If you are interested in giving Bruiser a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela at 203-909-8861 with questions about our adoption process.

Bruiser's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation along with the monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention. Bruiser has had a recent heart worm test and is heart worm negative.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
