Savvy's Story...
Hereeees Savvy! Savvy is a compact love bug who needs to find her forever family. Savvy is 4 years young with plenty of spry to be a hiking companion or play with other dogs. She is a little shy at first as she hasn't experienced much in the outside world, however with some practice and encouragement she becomes acclimated very fast! Once she realizes you are going to give her affection you have her heart. Savvy likes to play with other dogs and did very well around the other shepherds at adoption day!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Savvy, a Alameda German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Alameda, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Alameda.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alameda already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alameda breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alameda paves the way for another one to be saved.
