Cricket's Story...
Hi! I'm Cricket, and I'm a delightful English Cocker Spaniel mix gal, born in 2011!

I enjoy being petted! I have not yet been properly introduced to the wonderful world of belly rubs, though. I get along with dogs, kids and cats. I enjoy playing fetch with soft toys, but can tend to guard them when other dogs are around. A calm household would be best for me. I may bark when you are not at home, so a condo/apartment may not be a good fit. I hope you'll work with me to get a housetraining routine in place. I'm not really fond of being kenneled.

Finding my forever home will be my dream come true, but please give me time to adjust to my new routine. Basic doggy training may be helpful, too. I'd love for us to continue our higher education together!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Denver Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Denver, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
