Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet WOODROW! Welcome sweet Woodrow to LFS. Woodrow is a 11-12 year yellow boy who was found lying in the middle of the road in Alabama by a good Samaritan. She was sure he was not alive, but as she walked towards him he whimpered and thumped his tail. She managed to get him into her car and took him immediately to a veterinarian.
Woodrow has tested heartworm positive (currently asymptomatic). He has arthritis, but currently it is mild and does not need to be treated with medication. He also has mild cataracts. Woodrow is very thin and needs lots of TLC and good food to help him gain some weight. His foster says he eats very well and loves treats.
Woodrow smiles. He smiles ALL the time. He loves people and other animals. He is a fantastic walker! He does not pull and he goes at a good speed. He was not reactive at all when he and foster mom happened on a family of deer on an early morning walk.
He is house and crate trained. In his foster home, he lives with another dog and a cat, as well as his humans.
Woodrow deserves to be spoiled in a safe loving home for the time he has left.
Are you ready to open your home to this wonderful boy?
