My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Priscilla: female, 5-6 years old, seal point Himalayan

Hi Dear Kind Purrson:
My story is a sad-happy one. One day, my owner went to the pet groomer and told her that she was tiring of me, didn’t know anyone who would take me off her hands, and was going to have me euthanized. OMG!!! The kind-hearted groomer did not want this to happen to me. She knew I was affectionate, healthy, and very sweet, so she opened her big heart and, rather than see me killed, gave me a good home. I had a cat friend there named Elvis, which explains my name, and two friendly dogs. However, she recently got a big guard dog due to security reasons. This dog pounces on me like a toy and I got really, really afraid of him and thought of running away from my home. My groomer-caregiver decided that it was best that I have a home that will give me a peaceful, caring, and loving place where I will not have to live in fear all the days of my life. I can live with gentle cats and dogs--just not fur folk who do not know how to respect boundaries.

I am a cute, confident sealpoint Himalayan with fluffy fur, beautiful dark blue eyes, and long white crinkly whiskers. I talk to my purrson if they call my name and rumble purr when touched or gently brushed. I love teaser toys and am young at heart at 5-6 years old. I eat wet and dry food, am up to date with vaccinations, keep myself groomed and know litterbox etiquette. Though it was sad for my caregiver to give me up, she asked if this rescue group could match me with a kind, loving person, couple, or family with a peaceful home, who love the Himalayan breed. Are you this person who can provide shelter and love? I will reciprocate by adding cat-joy into your life!!!
Thanks, Priscilla (Elvis’ girlfriend)
