Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi I’m Lego! Three good words to describe me are:
LOVEABLE, LOYAL and LOOKING (for a new family to adore).
If you want to know more about me, read on! I came to SCLRR after a month at a noisy, uncomfortable shelter. The people who took care of me there did the best they could… but I was so stressed out that I spent the first two days at my foster home sleeping. Well actually the first thing I did was take a dip in the pool with my labby foster sister and THEN I slept for two days.
After I woke up, all my foster mom and dad could talk about is what a sweet boy I am. The shelter aged me at about 8-9 years old and no one really knows because I was a stray, but I am a relaxed companion that is just looking for a soft and permanent place to land.
I love the kids at my foster home and my labby sister… most of all I love to follow my foster mom around and be by her side.
My favorite things in life are a soft bed, a nice walk, a good meal, and the companionship of people I trust. I’m a very tall guy and at only 71 pounds I’m lanky. I could probably gain a couple pounds–I didn’t really want to eat much at the shelter— but I’m trying to stay slim and trim to help my joints. My foster mom says I have big deep bark that I’m not afraid to use when strangers walk by our gate or make too much noise in the street. I sound mean, but that’s a joke because I’m just a big lover. She also says I need a home where someone is home most of the time or willing to leave me inside the house while they are gone because I have some anxiety when left alone outside and will whine and bark… you would too if you spent a month a shelter!
If you give me access to the outside I’m reliable in the house and I know a few basic commands. I pull a little a bit on the leash, but not bad… the kids at my home can walk me without an issue. So if you are looking for a loving, mostly quiet and relaxed companion to hang out with… give me a call. I’m looking forward to meeting you.
