JETHRO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Jethro is a gorgeous 2 year old male Bluetick Hound looking for a loving and permanent home. This adorable fellow was found in a rural area, very thin and covered in fleas and ticks. He's been nursed back to health and looks great now. Coonhounds are known for their gentle, loving and easy going nature and Jethro is no exception. He's friendly and playful and will be a wonderful friend. Unfortunately, Jethro has tested positive for heartworm. Pal's Place will cover the cost of treatment, but he needs a forever or foster home to recover in. He has been patiently waiting to meet his forever family, could it be yours!? He is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from an open intake-shelter in southern IL. Pals Place works closely with them to help place their dogs into forever homes. We have only observed him in a kennel environment so we cannot say for sure if he's housetrained, adopters must be willing to potentially take on this task. We would love to help him out, but all of our foster homes are filled. Pal's Place has no shelter facility and relies entirely on foster homes and paid boarding. We can only save as many dogs as we have adoptive or foster homes for! If interest is shown in him, Jethri can be transported to Chicago. He will be fully vetted and prepared for adoption or a foster home. •Jethro's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Jethro from euthanasia.
