My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This amazingly sweet and loving little guy is Charlie. Charlie is about 10 years old and somehow, he became a stray, wandering the streets all alone. As if that weren't bad enough, he is blind, which must have made being lost even more awful for him. We were shocked that no one ever came looking for this sweet little silky terrier. Little Charlie was a neglected and matted mess when he arrived so we got him all cleaned up and evaluated by our veterinarian. We discovered that Charlie is also a diabetic, so we started him on insulin right away. His insulin is very inexpensive so if you're interested in Charlie, please don't let this stop you. He is such a sweet, easy going, lovable little guy. He is so well behaved and mellow, and all he asks for is a walk from time to time, a comfy bed to rest on, and someone to love him and treat him with kindness. Charlie gets around easily and has adapted very well to his blindness. He could get along just fine with another easy going, well behaved dog, and will need a home with no children under the age of 10 since he startles at sudden movements and commotion. Charlie is hoping that someone will open their heart and home to him and give him the lifetime of happiness that he is so deserving of. File#25311 8/14/15
