Lovebug's Story...
Giddy-up Cowboys and Cowgirls! My name is Cowgirl Snuggles, and just like my name says, I am a very snuggly, loving kitten! I am about twelve weeks old, and have very soft, silky black fur. I am tiny, and very cute! I love to be loved — if you pet me I will purr and purr and purr! I get along great with other kitties and absolutely love to play! My favorite play toy is a piece of string — it can entertain me for hours! If you are looking for a super snuggly, cuddly, loving companion, I am it! I can snuggle and cuddle for hours! I have lots of love to give, so if you would like for me to be a special part of your family, please contact Friends of Rescue and fill out an adoption application for Cowgirl Snuggles, that’s me! Cowgirl Snuggles is being fostered in Madison, Al. For more info and to set up a meeting, send an email to info@forrescue.net.\

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovebug, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
