Colt's Story...
Meet Mr. Colt. He was abandoned and picked up by a nice family that already has to many pets under one roof. However they are fostering Sweet Colt until he finds a forever home. He loves kids, good with other dogs and seems to be ok with cats. He is house trained, loves to run, and sleep at the end of the bed. He loves spending time outdoors and would be great for an active family with a big yard! Colt would be a very sweet addition to any family. To set up a meet and greet with this boy, contact the WSAL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colt, a White Settlement Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound for sale in White Settlement, or seeking a Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in White Settlement.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in White Settlement already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a White Settlement breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in White Settlement paves the way for another one to be saved.
