Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello World,
My name is Stevie and I am an affectionate little bichon, about 14 pounds and three years old who is a very handsome and lucky boy. Let’s start with why I am so lucky.
Until the other day I was living in the shelter with five other dogs in my ‘cage.’ Now I have a foster Mom who takes me to the park to play with other dogs and kids, I have two doggy foster brothers who think I’m really neat (and like me) and Mom has grandchildren that I like a lot. I also have a foster Dad who likes to cuddle with me. (He says I’m the one who likes to cuddle but I tell him it takes two!)
Mom says I’m a laid back little guy who is well behaved, listens, is smart and learns quickly. She says I’m affectionate and love to sit on someone’s lap whenever possible. And when I want to get someone’s attention, I just stand on my hind legs, or go around in a circle on my hind legs, looking cute and oh-so-happy. (Mom gives me treats so you know that works well for me!)) I love the outdoors, love my chew bones and adapt well to new situations. She also says I’m so considerate and well-behaved that I would probably get along with just about anyone. You see I’m just a very good little guy!
The best news is I don’t have to be alone any more. (Didn’t I tell you I’m lucky!) I get to play with other dogs, run like the wind, chase and walk on a leash. Mom says I’m just great on a leash. I’m housebroken, not a marker, and could probably walk for miles. And I get to ride in the car sometimes too. I like that a lot!
I am learning basic commands, want to please and am SWEET in capital letters. I am very calm although I have lots of energy – and that I have big bright eyes that shine when I smile – and I smile a lot!
I enjoy being with my doggy foster brother, enjoy the company of people and other dogs. If my Forever Home had children to play with, or a doggy brother or sister, that would be really nice, too!
