Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi guys, my name is Amber. When I came to Helping PAWS, I was a pretty sad little kitty. Even though I was in the prime of life, I wasn’t in the prime of health. In fact, it looked like I might be taking a trip across the Rainbow Bridge way before my time. I was jaundiced, I wouldn’t eat, and my blood tests showed that I was in liver failure. But the kind people here at Helping PAWS just refused to give up on me. They kept me hydrated and nourished and eventually I began to eat on my own. Yeah!!!! And now I have declared victory over liver failure. All of my bad symptoms have disappeared and I have the appetite of the healthy kitty that I’ve become. I show my gratitude by flopping on my side and rolling over for tummy rubs whenever anyone comes near me. So now I’m ready for my forever home. Could that be you? If you aren’t sure, you can always do something called “foster to adopt.” That means that I will stay with you for a while, and if you decide that you just can’t live without me, you can adopt me. Otherwise, I will just be your friend until Helping PAWS finds a different forever home. Now that’s what I call a “win/win.”
