My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Doodle is our 9-10 month old Schnauzer mix. He weighs 12 lbs.
Doodle is SUPER SWEET! Doodle loves all other dogs and plays with all the dogs at the rescue! Doodle will be SO HAPPY to have HIS family. Doddle will snuggle under the covers if cold outside or just love to be held. This little fellow will make your heart melt when you meet him. Doodle is an active dog that needs a play that can spend time playing, walking or hiking with him. He lives to be outside.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process.

Doodle's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Doodle is living with a foster family in Tennessee and will travel by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport service to the northeast and a twice monthly service to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
