Smudgie is a petite, spayed female, approximately 5-6 years old with beautiful long hair and sparkling bright eyes. She is very sweet and gets along with cats and dogs. Smudgie is a smart kitty - very loving and affectionate. She's never been outside before and is a strictly indoor cat. Smudgie is litterbox trained and has lived with other cats and dogs. She gets along well with everything and likes kids. Smudgie has been very well cared for. But the family lost their home to foreclosure and Smudgie must find a new family. If you'd like to give Sudgie a loving home forever or a temporary foster care home, please email pawsforliferescue@comcast.net.

Adoption Process:
Send an email to pawsforliferescue@comcast.net to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
