Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TENNESSEE HAS BEEN PLACED. DAKOTA IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FUREVER HOME!
Please Welcome Tennessee (left - male) and Dakota (right - female) one year old Cane Corso Mastiffs to our Recycled Rotts family!! Their owner was charged with cruelty when another dog with them was strangled to death trying to get out of the van where they were kept. These two waited 3 months in a local shelter for their case to come to court before they could be cleared for released to rescue. That day finally arrived. Sweet Dakota was so scared when she left the shelter that she had to be carried out.
Both dogs have cherry eye in both eyes (a prolapse of the gland of the third eyelid, not uncommon in this breed). Surgery has been performed and both Dakota and Tennessee are now adjusting to the good life in their foster homes. Both of them are still very much puppies, get the puppy zooms (how fun are puppy zooms?) and love to play with toys. Both will need to go to obedience school but are very willing to please. We know that attempting to place them together would be almost impossible, but wouldn’t it be nice.
