Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE VISIT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG FOR AN APPLICATION IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET ONE OF OUR DOGS.
This adorable snuggle muffin was turned into the shelter and patiently waited 18 days for her owners to come and claim her. Sadly, they never came and we are thrilled to have Sage as one of our Lovebugs and help her on her journey to find her forever home.
Sage is a 2 year old, 8 pound, Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix who is looking forward to being a devoted forever companion to someone very special. She is a very friendly gal and loves meeting new people. She always has a never ending supply of kisses and adores having her belly rubbed. Sage does well with other dogs, loves her daily walks and is both crate and potty trained in her foster home making her an easy addition to her new home. She is mostly a calm and quiet dog but also has a grand time digging through her toy box to find her favorite and giving it a few shakes.
Sage has something else that we think makes her extra special. She is missing one of her hind paws from the ankle down. We can only guess at how this happened but what we know for sure is that she does not miss it one bit. This gal can run, jump, play, and gets around just like every other dog in her foster home. We think our gal Sage is simply amazing and will be a wonderful companion to someone who thinks she is amazing too!
Our adoption fee for Sage is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, professional grooming, treatment for fleas and worms and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.
