My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is the SWEETEST 1 1/2 year old pure bred Cocker Spaniel that weighs about 22 pounds but needs to add a few lbs.
Buddy is the LOVE of the foster family household! He is a sweet, gentle boy that wouldn't hurt a fly. His mom had to give him up because of her failing health. She was no longer able to care for him. He is accustomed to living in a quiet home with lots of love an attention. That is the type of home we are looking for as a permanent home.
He is a little boy that will take a walk around the block and then watch your favorite movie, curled up on the sofa with you. Buddy lives in a foster home with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. He is shy at first with new people but his tail never stops wagging. Buddy is potty trained.

If you are interested in giving Buddy a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions. 901-651-6322 about the dogs or Angela with questions about the adoption process.

Buddy's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough),flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transportation. Buddy has had a recent heat worm test and is negative.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
