Daphne's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Daphne's Story...
Daphne is a beautiful two year old tricolor sheltie.
Right now she is quite underweight but under the care of her foster family, she
is gaining back her weight and strength. Daphne loves to be with her people so
she can be showered with affection. She is still learning her house manners and
working on basic commands, but she is a smart girl and is eager to please.
Daphne is a sweetheart that likes to curl up on the couch next to you. She walks
well on a leash, gets along nicely with dogs, cats, and children. Daphne is up
to date on her vaccinations and is heart worm negative. This lovely girl will
make a loving addition to the forever family lucky enough to adopt her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Powell Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Powell, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
