Eddie's Story...
Hi! My name is Eddie. I'm a 4 year old Border Collie cross. I have been neutered, de-wormed and I am up to date with my vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

If you are looking for a a great companion I just might be your guy. I am a pretty social guy and I have in the past lived with both cats and dogs. I know my basic commands, but am always ready to learn new tricks! As you can tell I have a few pounds to shed, as much as I would like to blame the fur, we all know I can't. So maybe a new diet when I go to my new home would be great, and regular walks as well. Food and walks, two things I enjoy very much, so I'm sure I'll swoop right into a new routine. So hurry and stop by and meet me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eddie, a Lloydminster Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
