My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**UPDATE** 2-1-16 Pumpkin is now housetrained. He has had no accidents in the house since mid January. He has grown to be a big boy and is now approximately 50-60 lbs. He is still getting used to his growth spurt and can be somewhat clumsy in his motions, which is funny to watch. Because of his size, he is not recommended for small children as he may knock them over. He is a silly boy that wants to play with other dogs and get attention from his humans. Pumpkin will require training to learn to focus on his owner. Currently he knows "sit" and is working on "paw."

Pumpkin is part of the Halloween litter that was rescued the week of the holiday. A good Samaritan found them running across a busy road at night following their mom (who we were unable to catch but are still trying). She offered to foster them for us and this is what she had to say about Pumpkin.
"He is a sweet boy, but he is a little bit feistier than his brother, Goblin. We love this little boy. He likes to nibble on soft toys to help with his teething. He is doing a great job going outside to use the bathroom and using the puppy pad in his x-pen. Pumpkin really likes to explore. He is up for any and every adventure that comes his way. He used to be the shy one of the bunch, but not anymore. He and his sister, Pocus, will sometimes try to out-bark the other. :) This is the first puppy that I saw in the road the night that I picked them up. He was crouching down because he was scared and he would have been killed if I hadn't gotten to him when I did. He is a lucky little boy. He likes to play with our cats, dogs and children.
All of the puppies have an amazing amount of bathroom control in the house. They are having very few accidents and they don't use the pads a lot unless it's overnight or if we are gone for about 4 hours at a time while at work. I will come home in the middle of a shift to let them out for a bathroom break."
