My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flower Child: 8-10 month old female, dilute torti Ragdoll mix.

Flower Child is a little thing, only 5 + pounds. Call her and she will come to you Pick her up and she purrs. She's a soft, little, warm armful. She loves attention and laps.

She showed up in a shelter as a “stray." I saw her shelter photo and had to go see her. Expecting an adult kitty, I was completely surprised to find she was just a kitten! She’s not a small cat!! She’s not grownup yet!! Sometimes, shelters are overwhelmed and cannot get clear info out about their cats. They had her down as an adult of unknown sex and no age. It is a testament to what a nice girl she is that she let me immediately feel up her private area to determine that, yes, she is a girl. Actually, she is a very feminine looking kitty and that should have been enough to tell me her gender.

Flower Child is a perfect little kitty to be someone’s darling companion. She is still growing but is unlikely to ever become large. Her “points," her feet, mask, ears, and tail, will likely darken a little while her torso remains a soft cream. Her slender body will take on a little weight, thicken a bit side to side, but that is about it. Away from other cats, she is confident and loves to explore and race about. Wiggle a feather and she is right there.

Flower Child has one special requirement for her new home. She really wants to be an only kitty. She may change and learn to like other cats, but so far, she is saying she won’t and wants to be the one and only. Other cats scare her. And ruin all her fun. I have no idea how she would feel about a dog.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
