Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jaxson!
Jaxson is a 2 year old blue headed white collie. He weighs in at 83 pounds, but this is an ideal weight given his structure. He shares his foster home with other collies (of course!) a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix, and 3 house cats (including a 2 pound foster kitten!) He is very gentle around his foster siblings, but tends to forget how big he really is when playing. Therefore, a home with playmates his own size would be ideal.
Jaxson is very intelligent and is always willing to please, especially for a treat! He knows several commands including sit, shake (both paws), lay down, and stay. He is 100% housebroken and will not get on furniture unless invited to do so.
Jaxson walks great on a leash and is not a very vocal. He may bark while playing or when he wants outside. He is very content with whatever you want him to do. He has been around children ages 3 through 10 and is his wonderful well-mannered self. He will be happy as a family dog, or just as happy with a single person or couple.
Jaxson doesn’t love car rides and needs coaxing to get into the car.
Jaxson seems interested in passing vehicles, so a fenced yard will be required.
He is up to date on all his vaccinations and preventatives, he is neutered and is heartworm negative.
