My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are not too sure how this dapper senior scruffy ended up at the shelter, because he is just too darn adorable and well behaved! Estimated at approximately 7 years old, his only goal in life is to snuggle on a lap. He is currently being fostered with children, cats and large and small dogs and does just great with everyone! He doesn't play too much, but makes up for it with snuggles!. He is a pretty mellow guy but will bark if someone knocks on the door. He is very polite and remembers his manners at all times, and is simply looking to enjoy retirements with a nice family. He rides very well in the car, knows his basic commands and is an all around great pup! He recently had a dental, and is down to just four teeth, but does just fine with senior kibble with a little water added.

Alfred's adoption fee is $200. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com--only submitted applications will receive a response. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 except on a case by case basis. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
