Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jonas is an adorable one year old Sheltie mix. He is weighs around 25 lbs. He will not grow more but he could stand to gain a few pounds.
The way she looks at you melts your heart. Jonas is sweet, loving, gentle and a real snuggler.
Jonas is looking for a home that is filled with love. You will not find a sweeter dog. A total love that loves life and everyone he meets! He gets along with all other dogs too! Jonas loves to be outside, go for walks and would enjoy and family/person that enjoys camping, hiking or just being outside.
Jonas is smart, loyal, happy and ready to share his life with you!
If you are interested in giving Jonas wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Jonas' adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the neutering, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
Jonas was rescued for a high kill southern shelter. He is living with a foster family in Tennessee. Once he has been adopted he will travel to his new family by professional pet transport. There is a weekly transport to the northeast, CT, NJ, NY, VT, PA, VA, ME. We use a twice monthly transport to IL, WI and MN.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
