Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here's your fair warning: Misty's story has been known to make folks a little misty EYED. Still reading? Ok, here we go. Misty was in a severe accident sometime before she arrived at the shelter. We don't know how or when, but we do know that she most likely broke her pelvis. Misty now has minimal use of her back legs and will always walk with a substantial limp. Surprisingly, it doesn't affect her actual mobility much at all - she still climbs with the best of them. Perhaps even more surprisingly, her injuries haven't had an impact on her attitude, as Misty is one of the sweetest cats at the shelter. She really is incredibly affectionate. She does great with kids and other animals, too. Misty is a very special cat who can teach all of us a thing or two about unconditional love and living positively, despite her difficult life. Won't you give her the forever home she so very much deserves?
