This lovable pile of mush is Sawyer, a 10 month old boy that is waiting so patiently to get noticed by some wonderful person that will give him a great home. Sawyer came to us from our Newark facility when he was rescued along with 8 other dogs from an unfit home. Sawyer was not mistreated, but he was neglected and is so happy now to be safe and cared for. Sawyer is a fun-loving and energetic puppy that acts like a bit of a loon when you see him inside but once he's outside and with you, he is like a big blob of velcro. Sawyer just wants to be stuck to you, hugging you, sitting in your lap, and getting lots of love and attention from you. He will romp around in our exercise yard for a little while but then come right back and flop on your feet. He is very loving and affectionate and just adores everyone he meets. Although Sawyer did not receive much training in his former home, he is well behaved and will sit nicely when asked, also walks well on a leash. He takes treats very gently and doesn't have much interest in toys. Sawyer gets along fine with most dogs and would make a wonderful addition to any great family that will love and spoil him the way he should be. File#25381 8/27/15
