Bristol's Story...
We would like you to meet Bristol.
Bristol is a beautiful 4 year old Pointer mix. Bristol needs to find a new home because she is fighting with her doggie sisters in the home. Her mama loves her a lot and has done all she can, but now Bristol is being kept in a crate most the time because she is causing fights. Bristol is good with male dogs. She would do best in a home with older kids (10+). No feline friends for Bristol. She is crate trained and house broken. Bristol knows her basic commands, is spayed and up to date on shots. Bristol is a strong girl, weighing in at about 75 pounds. She loves to cuddle after some time playing with her humans.
Bristol deserves much more and we are trying to do all we can to help.
Please email adoptions.bc4paws@gmail.com if you can foster or are interested in adopting Bristol.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bristol, a Oxford Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
