I am good with kids and good with dogs.
Hi there, my name is Hershey and I am a Black Lab/Boxer mix puppy. I am 9 weeks old. My brothers & sisters were found at a kill shelter in TN. See, our Mama was adopted at this kill shelter but they didn’t spay her. So she had a “date” with a Boxer and we were the result of it. Our original owner tried to find us homes but couldn’t so she brought us back to the shelter. But because it’s a kill shelter & space is limited – we needed help. IAR Volunteers to the rescue. Thankfully they came to get us and we are now safe. We are now living in this really fun foster home. There are so many doggies here like us. But in the beginning we were so small, our foster Mom had to keep us away from the bigger ones but now that we have grown so much we get to play with the bigger dogs and boy oh boy do I like to play! I spend most of our day outside and even with the snow – I like to play outside. Playing outside it’s a big adventure. When I come inside and get to play with the two little girls that live here when they come home from school. We do what every little puppy does – play, sleep, eat and play some more. I look a little different than my siblings. My coat is chocolate and wavy but I have the white speckles on my chest. I’m really, really pretty. Our foster Mom is teaching us this thing called “potty training” and I’m getting the hang of it. Can you call my foster Mom so you can come meet me? You can then see how pretty I am. Can’t wait to see you, xoxo Hershey.
