My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ MAGGIE, Female 5 Years of age and AVAILABLE - for more photos of MAGGIE please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/maggie2015 ✰✰

MAGGIE is a little 5-year-old girl with a sparkle in her eye & a wiggle in her caboose. She loves people, snuggling & leaning in for long sessions of petting. She is affectionate, yet not demanding. MAGGIE plays well with the other dogs in her foster home, but she especially likes to play with people. She enjoys tugging & retrieving her toys, as well as following her foster mom around the house & yard. MAGGIE likes to go for walks, but needs some work on her leash manners; she is excited & happy about everything & wants to go, go, go to check things out. She likes to go places in the car & loads up in her crate like a champ.

MAGGIE has nice house manners & is a quiet dog, no barking in or out of her crate, even when the other dogs are announcing the arrival of a guest. We don't know how MAGGIE is with cats, but with her sweet disposition we imagine she would be curious, yet gentle. MAGGIE is crate-trained & housebroken. She will be a lovely companion for someone who is active, but who doesn't need a dog that has to have something to do all the time.

MAGGIE is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about MAGGIE, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

MAGGIE is being fostered in North of Sacramento, California.
